Markand Adhikari has stepped down as Chairman and Managing Director of TV Vision, passing the leadership to the next generation of the Promoter family to drive the business forward. However, he will overview the business of the Company as and when required as Chairman Emeritus.
In a regulatory filing, the Company stated that the Board of Directors, upon recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee has appointed Ravi Adhikari as Additional Director and Managing Director of the Company for a period of five years, effective September 09, 2024, and designated as Chairman of the Company, subject to the approval of the members at the ensuing General Meeting of the Company.
As per the Company, Adhikari is a creative thinker trained under late Gautam Adhikari in various projects and has worked along with veterans of the industry like Anand Rai, Satish Kaushik among others.
He has vast experience working in the media industry. Currently, he is the creative backbone of the Company. His directorial venture had earned the Company several accolades and recognition, the Company stated. TV Vision is an independent listed company under Sri Adhikari Brothers Group (SAB Group).
