1. Flipkart: Sachin Bansal and Binny Bansal
Flipkart founders Sachin Bansal and Binny Bansal worked at Amazon before starting their own entity with a very similar business model in 2007.

2. Boomerang Commerce: Guru Hariharan
Guru Hariharan started Boomerang Commerce in 2012 and before that, he had the experience of working at Amazon and eBay.
3. Sokrati: Ashish Mehta
Before Sokrati, Ashish worked at Amazon where he was a part of the paid search marketing team. Led by ex-Amazonians and ex-Googlers, Sokrati has built algorithms to manage performance-driven marketing spends on paid search, social media networks.
4. Jambool: Vikas Gupta and Reza Hussein
Vikas and Reza met each other at Amazon and planned to quit and start Jambool in 2007. Google acquired Jambool in 2010.

5. Infibeam: Vishal Mehta
Infibeam, an Indian e-commerce company was started by Vishal Mehta after he returned to India in 2007 along with a group of employees from Amazon to do something similar for the Indian market.
6. Some Spider: Vinit Bharara
Vinit worked at Amazon about two years before he started ‘Some Spider’ under which he manages 3 blogs — Cafe.com, The Mid, and Scary Mommy and is expanding its network with more demographic-focused publications.
7. BankBazaar: Arjun Shetty
Arjun Shetty started BankBazaar 2008 and before that, he used to work as a senior product manager in Amazon where he managed the Amazon.com Visa Card program. This helped him to organize one of the world’s largest co-branded credit card programs in Bank Bazaar.
