Working to earn a living can be a tedious job however, the Indian Cinema portrays is so much easier and more fun. It is a fact that Indian cinema has always had some impact on people when it comes to trends and styles.

They take the most mundane jobs and with a leading actor playing the part it seems fun and not so unrealistic. While some are ordinary jobs, there are many that are far from being real and not so common, to be honest.

The job of a hairstylist has been stereotyped a lot in older movies in the Indian film industry. From the roadside barbershop feel to not giving the job much importance, a hairstylist was never hype. But in past few years, we have seen lead actresses playing the role of a hairstylist or a salon owner that has contributed a little in making this profession mainstream.

From Kajol playing a hairstylist and a salon owner in My Name Is Khan to Kareen Kapoor in Singham Returns, there have been many lead actresses playing the role and acing it as well.

Travel Photographer

Vlogging has become all the rage today and it is all thanks to the social media platforms easily accessible today. People have found a new way to express their love for traveling and even earning from it. The hype has also been triggered with leading actors portraying the character of a travel photographer. Whether it is an Indian Film cinema or Hollywood, the character has been played many a time making it the new cool today.

Radio Jockey

Being an RJ has never been out of fashion. Since before we had the luxury of owning a television, radios were the only source of entertainment. But in today’s time, when there are so many alternatives, a radio jockey might not seem like an ideal job. Katrina Kaif’s portrayal of a diving instructor sure did gave us some ideas. Her role as an instructor in Zindagi Na Milegi Dubaara was so compelling that many of us thought of trying diving at least if not go for the job.
