This was hailed by the the Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’, who was delighted to see at least 12 Indian Universities in the QS World Ranking list. It is definitely a great deal to find more and more Indian universities every year. Having 2 Indian universities in the top 50 list brings more aspirations to help our country improve its education system.
Pokhriyal also mentioned that 48% of college enrollments had female students. This also shows how progressive the country has become in comparison to the yesteryears. The gender gap is surely minimising, with a total enrollment of 48.6% of women.
In the Pharmacy category, Birla Insttitute of Technology (BITS) secured a place between the 151st and 200th position, along with the Manipal Academy of Higher Education.
