Just a week after Congress released their Manifesto, PM Narendra Modi has released BJP’s manifesto or Sankalp Patra. BJP’s chief Amit Shah claimed that India is a “maha-shakti” now. He said that between 2004 and 2014, when UPA was in power, India had “slipped in the eyes of the world” but now it is among the top six economies. According to him, PM Modi has done justice to every sector of society. “PM Modi has struck the source of terrorism and sent a message to the world that no one can play around with the borders of the country,” Amit Shah added.

1. Ensure the availability of banking services within 5 kms of every individual.

2. The party has promised simplification of the GST process by engaging in dialogue with all stakeholders.

3. The party promised pension for senior citizens from the farming community, removal of the ceiling of five acres to compensate farmers’ input to the tune of Rs 6,000 per year.

4. Security forces will continue to get a free hand to deal with terrorism, the document stated.

5. BJP stated itself as ‘Transparent, strong and decisive government’

6. BJP stated to establish 75 new medical colleges and post-graduate colleges.

7. Investment of Rs. 100 lakh crore in the infrastructure sector by 2024.

8. Zero tolerance for terrorism.

9. Pucca houses by 2022, for every family who is living in a kuccha house or has no house.

10. Start developing smart railway stations across India.
