While Shark Tank started in the US way back in 2009, the show has become a rage in India recently. Shark Tank US, in its 12 years of running, has paved a way for many startups to witness success.

Many company’s received noteworthy investment deals on the show and have since become a successful business ventures. While many others multiplied their sales soon after featuring on the show.

Here are the top 5 most successful pitches on Shark Tank US.

1. Bombas

Bombas started off as a comfort socks brand in 2013 but began selling T-shirts in 2019. Daymond John, the founder of global hip-hop fashion brand FUBU, invested $200,000 for a 17% stake in the company when it appeared on Shark Tank US.

The company exceeded $100 million in revenue in 2018, following their win on ABC’s SHARK TANK in September 2014.

2. Squatty Potty

Squatty Potty is the original toilet stool that positions your body in a natural, comfy squat. Shark Lori Greiner offered to invest $350,000 for 10% equity. The company witnessed an overnight bump of $1 million after the show. In 2016, the company reported $30 million in revenue.

3. The Bouqs

As per the company’s profile, The Bouqs is an online flower retailer founded by John Tabis and Juan Pablo Montúfar that delivers flowers and plants fresh from eco-friendly, sustainable farms to doorsteps nationwide.

As of 2019,  The Bouqs Company had secured $55 million in funding, grown to 80 employees, moved into a new office in Marina del Rey, California, and introduced new product categories. Though John Tabis was unable to secure any deal on the show, it gained a lot of popularity just with his presentation.

4. Sleep Styler

The Sleep Styler was designed as the only heat-free, hands-free hairstyling system. Inventor and entrepreneur Lori Greiner invested $75,000 for a 25% stake in the company on the show. One day after receiving funding the company made $1.5 million in sales.

5. Tipsy Elves

Tipsy Elves founders Evan Mendelsohn and Nicklaus Morton brought the iconic ‘Ugly Christmas Sweater’ to the Shark Tank in 2013. They received a $100,000 investment from Robert Herjavec, a Canadian businessman and investor on the show, in exchange for a 10% stake. Tipsy Elves earned $600,000 a year in sales before appearing on Shark Tank. After the show, the company generated $125 million in sales.
