The One Club for Creativity has announced the induction of Piyush Pandey into its prestigious Creative Hall of Fame for 2026, recognising the advertising veteran’s enduring contribution to the industry and his role in redefining brand storytelling in India.
Widely regarded as the father of modern Indian advertising, Pandey is being honoured for transforming the industry by bringing the language, humour and humanity of everyday India into mainstream advertising. Through his work, he helped create campaigns that resonated deeply with consumers while influencing generations of marketers and creative professionals.
Pandey joins an esteemed group of global creative leaders selected for this year’s Creative Hall of Fame. The 2026 inductees include Rosie Arnold, Janet Champ, John C Jay, Caroline R. Jones and Joyce King Thomas, while Michael Conrad will be inducted into the Educators Hall of Fame.
The Creative Hall of Fame, established with the induction of Leo Burnett in 1961, celebrates individuals whose work has left a lasting impact on the creative industry. Honourees are evaluated on three key criteria: impact, influence and inspiration.
According to The One Club for Creativity, candidates are recognised not only for producing celebrated and innovative work, but also for advancing the industry and mentoring future generations of creative leaders.
The selection process involves nominations from One Club members, followed by voting from the organisation’s National and International Board and previous Hall of Fame inductees. A shortlist is then reviewed by a selection committee before the Board casts the final vote.
The 2026 Creative Hall of Fame induction ceremony will take place on September 16 at Capitale in New York.
“The people we honor this year didn’t just create iconic work—they changed the trajectory of our industry. Their ideas reshaped culture, their leadership opened doors for others, and their impact continues to ripple across generations. We are proud to recognize these creative pioneers whose influence extends far beyond the work itself,” said Pum Lefebure, One Club chair and co-founder, CCO, Design Army in Washington DC.
