Gnani.ai, a full-stack sovereign Voice AI platform, has appointed Sriraman Ranganathan as its Chief Financial Officer (CFO), strengthening its leadership team as the company enters its next phase of growth and global expansion.
In his new role, Ranganathan will oversee the company’s finance function, including financial planning and analysis, corporate governance, compliance, capital allocation, risk management and strategic growth initiatives. He will work closely with the leadership team to enhance operational efficiency, support business scalability and drive long-term value creation.
Ranganathan brings more than 20 years of experience across startups and multinational organisations spanning the manufacturing, automotive, IT services and SaaS sectors. His expertise includes strategic finance, corporate finance, FP&A, mergers and acquisitions, strategic transactions and corporate restructuring.
Over the course of his career, he has led initiatives ranging from IPO readiness and restructuring programmes to the creation of shared services centres and strategic exit processes. He has also worked closely with founders on company sales, due diligence, financial preparedness and transaction management.
Before joining Gnani.ai, Ranganathan served as CFO at Veersa Technologies. Earlier, he spent nearly five years at Freshworks in senior finance leadership roles, including Senior Director Finance and Director Finance, contributing to the company’s growth journey. Prior to that, he was Vice President Finance (CFO) at DataTracks, where he helped scale the company’s global SaaS operations.
His career also includes leadership positions at Amalgamations Valeo Clutch, Saint-Gobain India, Hindustan Colas and Indian Railways.
